  • Add powdered milk to puddings, potatoes, soups, ground meats, vegetables, and cooked cereals
  • Encourage cheese as snacks, sauces, and on sandwiches. Add it to vegetables, soups, potatoes and casseroles
  • Add mayonnaise and salad dressings whenever your child wants them
  • Use evaporated milk instead of whole milk when cooking recipes
  • Add sour cream to potatoes, casseroles, dips, sauces and baked goods
  • Make milkshakes with sweetened condensed milk or add it to peanut butter for a high calorie sandwich
  • Mix Carnation Instant Breakfast in milk
  • Offer gravy when appropriate
  • Make a milkshake or order one when eating out at a restaurant
  • Offer puddings and custards for snack
  • Offer yogurt (not low-fat), fruit and granola for a snack
  • Pair chips with a cheese dip
  • Butter toasts and dinner rolls
  • Have an ice cream for dessert, top with caramel, chocolate, nuts, berries, or coconut
